Our Design Process

To start, we sit down with you for an in-depth client interview to determine the specific project requirements and design goals. Then, we survey the project by taking measurements and photographs to utilize as we proceed forward. To wrap up this phase, we begin drafting initial budgets, floor plans, etc. in preparation for the Design Phase.

Next, we delve into the fun part - the design! We create space plans, design and color concepts, furniture and finish selections, and, of course, schedule design meetings with you to present our ideas using design tools in our Digital Design Studio(i.e. floor plans, images, concept boards, sketches, swatches, etc.) to develop a comprehensive design plan for your feedback and approval to proceed to the Dwell Phase.

Then, we begin implementing the design - taking care of all the details for you! We manage any renovation or trade work for the project, as well as, purchase goods, manage project accounting, schedule deliveries, and tackle any unforeseen issues.. just to name a few. Lastly, we provide on-site installation and final styling of the space to bring the project to its beautiful completion!

Meet the Owner & Designer

Cassandra Bruson

As one of the Southeast's leading architectural designers, I believe strongly in the collaborative relationship between client and designer. My function as a design professional is to create, suggest and gently guide my client through the process.  I take every aspect of my clients' lifestyles  and individual style into consideration when working on their projects. My goal is to have a client who loves their surroundings and who regards my involvement as essential.

I am known for my keen eye for detail that makes the spaces I design unique and fresh.  I’m an expert in space planning, 3D modeling, as well as applying color, texture, balance and scale in any interior space.  Custom design isn't my only passion, I find it exhilarating to reinvent existing interiors and I always do so with great thoughtfulness.  To create beautiful, layered interiors, I rely on my background, education and travel. I feel equally at ease designing any style request; traditional, modern or transitional.

Whether I am working on a commercial or residential space, I attribute my success to my meticulous attention to detail, a close designer-client relationship and personalized service.  My work and expertise have been featured in The Woodlawn Estate, Alexandria, VA, The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Department, Winston-Salem, NC and The Center for Design Innovation, among others.  I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Architectural Design from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Furnishings Marketing from High Point University.

I have a decade of experience and education in custom furniture design, space planning, 3D rendering and full-scale renovation projects.  I attend the a variety of commerical and residential tradeshows to stay abreast of all cutting edge technology as it relates to design, building materials, color forecasts and trends and NEW furniture designers and manufactures as they enter market.  This ensures that my clients will always have price options that will fit any budget.

I am an allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), National Association of Professional Women and Interior Design Society. When I’m not creating, I enjoy spending time with my husband Corry B. and our 3 daughters, Chelsea, Cheyenne and Callie.
